Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking a cooperative agreement to support the management and expansion of the National Center on Restorative Justice. The center will educate, train, and build knowledge on restorative justice approaches and their use in criminal justice and community safety, with targeted training for law enforcement, correctional institutions, prosecutors, and court personnel. The work focuses on accountability-oriented restorative justice practices that are intended to strengthen public safety, reinforce offender responsibility, and provide meaningful restoration to victims. The opportunity is open to private institutions of higher education, does not require cost sharing, and has an award ceiling of $2,543,279.
