FY26-Supp #1-Northeast Corridor Cooperative Agreement to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation

The Federal Railroad Administration is providing a cooperative agreement to Amtrak for FY26 supplemental funding for the Northeast Corridor, covering capital and debt service. The award supports Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor activities as well as its National Network needs, including train services, infrastructure, and related capital projects. The application must include an SF-424, a statement of work, descriptions of projected operating and capital costs, capital project plans with cost estimates and schedules, a description of safety culture improvement efforts, and required FRA assurance forms. Amtrak is the only eligible applicant, the funding amount is $461,187,434, and the application deadline is April 30, 2026.
