DoW Lupus, Transformative Vision Award

The Defense Health Agency, through the Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, is seeking applications for the FY26 Lupus Research Program Transformative Vision Award to support interventional research that can improve the near-term quality of life for people living with lupus. The award is intended for work at the individual or health care system level and may include clinical trials, with research directed to at least one FY26 LRP Transformative Vision Award focus area such as innovative care delivery or interventions affecting quality of life and mental health. Applications must include preliminary data and at least one lupus consumer advocate on the research team, may include up to three principal investigators, and may not include animal studies.
