The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State is seeking proposals for the FY 2026 Ngawang Choephel Fellows Program, aimed at fostering a two-way economic exchange between emerging entrepreneurs from Tibetan communities in China, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the United States. The program's objectives include enhancing leadership and professional skills, building partnerships, and supporting U.S. economic interests through a structured exchange that features both U.S.-based activities and international engagement. Eligible applicants are U.S. not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions with a minimum of four years of experience in international exchanges, with a total funding amount of $750,000 available for one or two cooperative agreements, each lasting 18 to 24 months.
