Pax Silica Artificial Intelligence Assistance Project
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs is seeking proposals for the Pax Silica Artificial Intelligence Assistance Project to strengthen global AI supply chain security through foreign assistance from the Pax Fund. Funded organizations will establish a Silicon Highway, which is a digital-physical corridor designed to accelerate logistics and compliance operations among partner countries. This initiative requires the creation of a trusted supply chain credentialing and provenance platform featuring cryptographic cargo verification, AI-expedited risk assessment, and pre-approved expedited processing early in the supply chain. For-profit organizations are eligible to apply for this cooperative agreement, and the Department of State will maintain rights of use to intangible property created under the project. Applications must be submitted by August 20, 2026, with an expected award ceiling of $50,000,000 and inquiries can be directed to PaxFund-NOFO-DL@state.gov.
