Grant Opportunity Analysis

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is offering a cooperative agreement to support development of undergraduate and/or graduate curricula that incorporate documentary standards, standards development, and standardization into teaching and learning resources. The work is intended to produce seminars, modules, courses, and other learning materials that help students build understanding of standards for careers or further study. Applications will be evaluated on the project approach, communication plan, personnel qualifications, and resource availability, and eligible applicants are accredited U.S. institutions of higher education; foreign entities are not eligible. NIST anticipates making up to eight awards of up to $95,000 each for project periods of up to three years, with an earliest start date of October 2026, and applications are due through Grants.gov by July 13, 2026.
