National Biomedical Research Centers (P50 Clinical Trial Optional)

The National Institutes of Health is seeking grant applications for the National Biomedical Research Centers (P50 Clinical Trial Optional) to support centers that provide scientific expertise, advanced equipment, infrastructure, and well-characterized research models for biomedical researchers nationwide. The program is focused on developing innovative human-based models and new technologies that reduce reliance on live research models, with applications expected to include actionable plans to reduce, refine, and replace whole-animal use through complementary and alternative approaches.
