The U.S. Department of Labor, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education, is seeking applications for the Centers of Excellence for Veteran Student Success Program to support institutions of higher education in improving veteran student success in postsecondary education. The program funds model projects that coordinate services addressing the academic, financial, physical, and social needs of veteran students. Applications must establish a Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success, and projects focused on career pathways and workforce readiness may receive competitive preference points; selection will consider need, significance, design quality, resource adequacy, and evaluation quality.
