Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to Germany’s Public Diplomacy Section is seeking proposals for the Transatlantic Partnership Program to strengthen the U.S.-German relationship and support initiatives tied to Freedom 250. The program funds innovative projects in areas such as sports, science and space cooperation, countering anti-Semitism and supporting freedom of speech, and measuring the long-term impact of exchange programs and sister city partnerships. Proposals must include strong U.S. components, clearly defined German target audiences, and a strategic implementation plan with measurable objectives that can increase awareness, shape attitudes, strengthen skills, or build sustainable networks. The opportunity is a cooperative agreement with no cost-sharing requirement, and the amended closing date is June 1, 2026, with awards ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 and an estimated six awards available.
