The Dept. of the Army’s USAMRAA is offering the FY26 Prostate Cancer Research Program Physician Research Award to support mentored research experiences for early-career physicians pursuing prostate cancer research. The award supports projects led by physicians with clinical duties and requires applications to address one FY26 PCRP Overarching Challenge, include at least one experienced mentor, and provide a researcher development plan and research approach. The program is intended for physicians in the last year of residency or fellowship or within five years of a faculty appointment, does not permit clinical trials, and uses peer and programmatic review with emphasis on scientific merit and relevance to PCRP priorities. Applications require a pre-application by August 12, 2026 and a full application by September 2, 2026 through eBRAP or Grants.gov, with approximately 8 awards anticipated and a total cost cap of $1.1 million per award over up to 4 years.
