Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to India is seeking proposals for the 2026 U.S. Speaker Program to connect American experts with priority Indian audiences. The selected recipient will implement the U.S. Speaker and Specialist Program in India, which includes delivering eight to ten in-country speaker programs across the country and conducting ten virtual engagements. These activities will focus on priority areas such as regional security, maritime security, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, strategic competition, energy security, and innovation-driven economic growth. Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental entities who must demonstrate administrative, financial, and operational capacity to manage federal funds. Applications must be submitted by July 24, 2026, for this cooperative agreement, which offers an award ceiling of $250,000 and can be directed to Nd_GrantApplications@state.gov.
