BJA FY26 Bridging Immigration-Related Deficits Experienced Nationwide Program: District of Columbia Safe Housing Camera Program Invitation to Apply

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is offering a discretionary federal grant for the Government of the District of Columbia to fund the District of Columbia Safe Housing Camera Program under the Bridging Immigration-Related Deficits Experienced Nationwide (BIDEN) Reimbursement Fund. The award supports the purchase and installation of law enforcement safe housing and street cameras and related technology, including license plate readers, to help prevent and investigate crime. Allowable costs also include associated data storage, subscriptions, and operation and maintenance tied directly to the installed systems, with the program intended to support law enforcement investigative analysis to counter gang and other criminal activity.
