Fiscal Year 2026 State Fire Training Systems Grants
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Fire Administration are seeking applications for the Fiscal Year 2026 State Fire Training Systems Grants. Funded state fire training agencies must deliver National Fire Academy training courses, distribute educational materials such as student manuals and instructor guides, and supplement state-level training capabilities. This noncompetitive program requires no cost-sharing, prohibits indirect costs, and carries a projected period of performance from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. FEMA expects to issue 50 fixed awards of $20,000 each, and applications must be submitted electronically through the FEMA Grants Outcomes system by July 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
