Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur Public Diplomacy Section, part of the U.S. Mission to Malaysia, is seeking grant proposals for its FY2026 Public Diplomacy Grants Program to advance U.S. leadership, prosperity, and security interests in Malaysia. The program funds initiatives that promote U.S. technological innovation and economic competitiveness, sports diplomacy, exchange-alumni engagement, American English language education, and pathways to U.S. higher education, along with efforts to counter malign influence and strengthen trust in the United States. Proposals should align closely with U.S. interests, show measurable outcomes and sustainable impact, and will be assessed on program quality, organizational capacity, budget, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, and other alignment factors.
