Strengthening tuberculosis (TB) prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance in Asia
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Centers for Disease Control-GHC’s Division of Global HIV and Tuberculosis is seeking cooperative agreement applications to strengthen tuberculosis prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance in India, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The work is intended to reduce TB morbidity and mortality by improving case finding, TB preventive treatment, treatment outcomes, and surveillance through innovative and evidence-based approaches. Key emphasis is on expanding diagnosis of TB infection and disease, including drug-resistant and multidrug-resistant TB, improving treatment regimens, and supporting data-driven public health action; eligibility is unrestricted, but projects must be carried out in one of the three countries and may require local registration in India and Vietnam. Applications are due June 22, 2026, with electronic submissions accepted until 11:59 p.m. ET; CDC anticipates about $3,000,000 in Year 1 funding across 1 to 3 awards and encourages individual country proposals of up to $1,000,000.
