The Foreign Agricultural Service is offering the FY2024 Scientific Cooperation Research Program through a Cooperative Agreement. This program aims to support FAS's strategic goals by funding joint research, extension, and education projects between U.S. researchers and researchers from selected emerging market economies. The projects, which last up to two years, address various issues such as agricultural trade and market access, animal and plant health, biotechnology, food safety and security, climate smart agriculture, and sustainable natural resource management. The program has been supporting similar projects since 1980, enhancing the technical skills of agricultural professionals and fostering relationships between beneficiary countries and the U.S. agriculture sector. The estimated total program funding is $600,000, with an expected number of 12 awards. The closing date for applications is March 25, 2024.
