The Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Health Workforce is offering the Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program to help dental and dental hygiene training programs recruit and retain full-time faculty through loan repayment. The program supports eligible CODA-accredited general, pediatric, or public health dentistry programs in nonprofit dental or dental hygiene schools, as well as CODA-accredited residency or advanced education programs in those fields. Applications are expected to describe the need, proposed approach, performance management, impact, resources, budget, and the participant selection and loan repayment administration needed to operate the program. Up to 8 grants may be awarded, with an award ceiling of $100,000 and estimated total funding of $800,000, and electronic applications are due July 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET; SAM.gov and Grants.gov registration are required, and the contact listed is Jesse Ungard at JUngard@hrsa.gov.

You can apply if you are: A Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited program of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in a public or private, nonprofit dental or dental hygiene school; or a CODA accredited residency or advanced education program in general, pediatric, or public health dentistry.
