The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, through the Army’s USAMRAA, is offering the FY26 Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program Exploration-Hypothesis Development Award to support innovative, high-risk research on tuberous sclerosis complex. The program seeks applications that explore mechanistic studies, animal models, biomarkers, therapeutics, and patient-centered studies in TSC. Preliminary data is not required, clinical trials are not permitted, and evaluation emphasizes innovation, impact, and research strategy with an emphasis on new paradigms or approaches that challenge existing ones; awards are expected to run for two years. Approximately six grants are planned at up to $350,000 each, with pre-applications due July 23, 2026, full applications due August 6, 2026, and submissions made through eBRAP and Grants.gov.
