Maneuver Damage Coordination Support for Fort Polk

The Department of the Army, through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, is seeking statements of interest for a cooperative agreement to provide maneuver damage coordination support for Fort Polk and the Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana. The work includes onsite support for implementing the Sustainability and Environmental Monitoring Plan and environmental effects analysis, with tasks covering maneuver damage collaboration and facilitation, a maneuver damage technician role, infrastructure maintenance, inspections, environmental analysis, and GIS support. Participation is limited to members of the CESU regions Great Plains, Gulf Coast, Great Rivers, and Colorado Plateau, and the agreement is expected to involve substantial government involvement, a 12-month base period, and up to four additional 12-month follow-on periods. Eligible Applicants
A cooperative agreement is being offered ONLY to members of the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Units (CESU) Program Region(s) Great Plains, Gulf Coast, Great Rivers, and Colorado Plateau. Award will be made upon mutual agreement and acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in the request for proposal and the of the recipient's CESU Master Agreement. NOTE: This project will be awarded under the authority of 16 USC 670c-1, Sikes Act: For projects for the implementation and enforcement of integrated natural resources management plans, priority shall be given to award to Federal and State agencies having responsibility for the conservation or management of fish or wildlife.
