BJS FY 2026 Invited To Apply Statistical Support Program

The Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Statistics is seeking to fund the FY 2026 Statistical Support Program to expand its capacity to collect, analyze, and report criminal justice data. Under this cooperative agreement, the selected recipient will provide statistical and methodological support for both new and existing data collections across areas such as policing, prosecution, courts, institutional corrections, community supervision, and victimization. This discretionary funding program is designed to increase the breadth of substantive criminal justice issues the agency can address. Eligible applications are restricted to RTI International for this single-award opportunity, which does not require cost sharing or matching. Applications must be submitted by October 1, 2026, for an award ceiling of $1,500,000, and inquiries can be directed to AskBJS@usdoj.gov.
