The United States Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture is seeking applications for the Tribal Colleges Extension Program - Capacity Applications to support informal, community-focused education and outreach in Tribal communities. Funded projects must address key local priorities such as agriculture, youth development, economic development, healthy lifestyles, and natural resources. Eligible applicants are limited to thirty-five designated 1994 Land-grant Institutions, and projects must align with federal priorities like increasing agricultural profitability, expanding markets, and improving human health. Applications require a project narrative, a data management plan, and a detailed budget that excludes indirect costs, with evaluations focusing on the project's potential to advance Tribal Extension initiatives and the expertise of key personnel.
