The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health, is seeking cooperative agreement applications to support HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Network Clinical Trials Units that advance prevention and treatment research on HIV and HIV-associated diseases. The work centers on providing scientific expertise for randomized controlled clinical studies and implementation research across four clinical trials networks, with each Clinical Trials Unit supporting an administrative hub and domestic and/or international clinical research sites. These units are expected to conduct multiple clinical studies from more than one network, recruit and retain relevant participants, and support efficient use of resources and infrastructure.
