The Health Resources and Services Administration is accepting applications for the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Leadership, Education, and Advancement in Undergraduate Pathways (LEAP) Training Program. Funded projects will establish undergraduate pathway programs to expand the MCH workforce and improve healthcare access for maternal and child populations, especially in rural and medically underserved areas. Awardees must recruit at least 30 interdisciplinary undergraduate students annually, provide a comprehensive MCH curriculum, establish mentorship models, facilitate internships, and develop organizational partnerships. The five-year grant period of performance runs from September 30, 2026, to May 31, 2031, with a funding priority for organizations never previously funded by LEAP. The agency expects to award up to five grants of up to $155,000 annually, with applications due by July 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
