NIH Pragmatic Trials Conducted in Health Care Systems
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health, through NCCIH, plans a cooperative agreement funding opportunity for pragmatic and implementation trials conducted in health care settings. It will support large-scale studies that test intervention effectiveness in routine clinical care and evaluate strategies for delivering interventions within health systems. The work is expected to embed interventions in routine care, use a milestone-driven design with planning and full-trial phases, and favor projects that improve real-world relevance across multiple care settings and health system types.
