Grant Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health is seeking investigator-initiated Specialized Center (P50) grant applications to advance the NIH mission through a broadly based, multidisciplinary research program with a specific scientific objective or theme. The award supports a center composed of an administrative core, research projects, and at least one resource core, with an optional pilot projects core, and the projects are expected to share a common central theme and build synergistically toward goals beyond any single project. The center must align with the programmatic interests of one or more participating NIH Institutes, Centers, or Offices and demonstrate cohesiveness, shared resources, and collaborative impact; there is no cost sharing or matching requirement.
