Grant Opportunity Analysis
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service is seeking applications for the Fiscal Year 2026 Regional Food System Partnerships grant program to support partnerships that connect public and private resources to plan and develop local and regional food systems. The program funds projects that advance Local Agriculture Market Program goals, including direct producer-to-consumer marketing, local and regional food markets and enterprises, and value-added agricultural products. Applicants may propose either Planning and Design projects or Implementation and Expansion projects, and eligible domestic partnerships must include at least one eligible entity and one eligible partner, with a 25% cash cost share required. Applications are reviewed for completeness, eligibility, technical merit, achievability, expertise, and fiscal plan, with priority given to projects showing significant non-Federal resources, serving distressed communities, and involving multiple partners. Applications are due electronically by June 5, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, approximately $4.71 million is available, and grant questions may be directed to IPPGrants@usda.gov.
