U.S. Mission to NATO Public Affairs Annual Program Statement U.S. Mission to NATO
The U.S. Mission to NATO is offering a grant through its Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program. The purpose of this grant is to promote an increased understanding of NATO's role in promoting regional peace and security, as well as the rules-based international order. The grant is open to private institutions of higher education, registered not-for-profit organizations, think tanks, civil society/non-governmental organizations, non-profit or non-governmental educational institutions, and governmental institutions. The funding range for this grant is between $20,000 and $50,000. The grant is focused on programs and initiatives that have a direct tie to the United States and promote increased understanding of U.S. foreign policy interests within the Alliance. Examples of projects that can be funded include academic and professional lectures, seminars, and speaker programs, artistic and cultural workshops, performances, and exhibitions, professional and academic exchanges, programs, and trainings, digital engagements and content creation, establishing core leadership/influencer groups, such as a young leaders network, and developing educational materials. Priority will be given to activities targeting NATO Allies and partner countries, but programs that support NATO objectives or increase understanding of NATO in other strategically important countries will also be considered. The grant also has specific priority program areas, including countering disinformation and misinformation, media independence or media literacy, NATO deterrence and defense, hybrid security threats and emerging technologies, science and technology, NATO and Africa, Asia, or Latin America, NATO partnerships, Russian malign influence in the Euro-Atlantic area, the People's Republic of China's expanding use of economic, political, and military power, climate security, women, peace, and security, and young professionals and next-generation engagement. The U.S. Mission to NATO encourages new and creative approaches, programs that reflect diversity of thought and backgrounds, and initiatives that incorporate and empower emerging voices, such as youth audiences. The grant also encourages product outputs with multiplying effects and in multiple languages, as well as forthright analysis about the gaps in NATO strategies along with practical solutions to address deficiencies. Implementation plans that incorporate evaluation components, such as key performance indicators (KPIs) to track a quantifiable measure of performance, are also preferred. 2020/2021 EducationUSA Graduate Opportunity Funds Program U.S. Mission to Zimbabwe
The U.S. Mission to Zimbabwe is forecasting a grant opportunity titled "2020/2021 EducationUSA Graduate Opportunity Funds Program". In the second phase, the grantee will manage the travel logistics of approximately 15 students, including visa and SEVIS fees, international airfare, and settling-in allowances. The grantee will communicate with the students and advisers, coordinate visa appointments, make travel arrangements, and handle payments. The performance period for this grant is 24 months, with an anticipated start date of September 15, 2021.
Annual Program Statement 2024 U.S. Mission to South Africa
