Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to South Korea is offering a funding opportunity for the U.S-Korea Talent Exchange Through Study Abroad program, aimed at fostering partnerships between U.S. institutions and high-performing Korean students in critical fields such as STEM and defense technology. This cooperative agreement, funded by $120,000 in FY25 Smith Mundt Public Diplomacy Funds, seeks to train Korean educators and program administrators through a 3-day workshop in Seoul and a subsequent 10-day study tour in the United States, enhancing their ability to guide students in the U.S. university admissions process. Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public international organizations, all of which must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and be registered in SAM.gov.
