Grant Opportunity Analysis

The National Institutes of Health, through the National Cancer Institute, is funding the Paul Calabresi Career Development Award for Clinical Oncology to expand the number of clinician-scientists trained in clinical and translational cancer research and support their career development. The award supports institutional research career development programs for scholars in clinical oncology and related cancer research training. Scholars may not lead independent clinical trials, but they may participate in trials led by a mentor or co-mentor, and applications are reviewed on the strength of the program, leadership, mentors, scholars, and training record. Applications must be submitted electronically through ASSIST, Grants.gov Workspace, or an institutional system-to-system solution, and the program contact is NCIK12Calabresi@nih.gov.
