NIJ FY25 Research and Evaluation on Human Trafficking

The National Institute of Justice, in partnership with the Office for Victims of Crime, is seeking grant applications for research and evaluation on human trafficking to strengthen efforts to combat trafficking and protect children, with emphasis on trafficking at the Southern Border. The program covers projects on justice system responses to trafficking, including strategies to improve investigations, prosecutions, and disruption of trafficking networks, as well as evaluations of direct service programs for American child and adult victims, plus work at the intersection of technology and trafficking. Applications should address emerging evidence needs and gaps and be designed to produce a clear effect on U.S. criminal justice policy and practice.
