REQUEST FOR INFORMATION – MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS

The US Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground-Research Triangle Park (ACC-APG-RTP) Division has issued a Request for Information (RFI-HC-26-01-MBMIE) to gather insights for a new program. This program seeks to establish collaborative partnerships with U.S. universities and the technological sector to form interdisciplinary innovation ecosystems. The goal is to conduct fundamental research on innovation ecosystems, providing evidence-based recommendations to help the Army anticipate, manage, influence, and lead innovation. The RFI poses nine questions for universities, research institutions, and other organizations to address, focusing on theories, scientific concepts, optimal composition, dynamic interactions, market relationships, integration of innovations, success metrics, and best practices for academic support of Army personnel. Responses, due by February 15, 2026, will help identify potential offerors with capabilities and interest to support this requirement.
