The Geological Survey is offering a Cooperative Agreement for a partner affiliated with the Californian Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) to conduct research on coastal wetland and seagrass ecology, which is vital for natural resource management and national security in the Pacific Coast wetlands and Department of Defense (DoD) installations in the Mariana Archipelago. The selected partner will assist in developing and implementing management and restoration plans for coastal wetlands and seagrass, addressing the needs of land management agencies such as the DoD and the Department of the Interior (DOI).
