Accelerating Discovery through Partnered Research with All of Us to Analyze Participant Biospecimens (X01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program is seeking X01 applications for partnered research that uses stored participant biospecimens to accelerate health research and precision medicine. The award provides access to blood plasma, blood serum, and extracted DNA from the All of Us Biobank for large-scale studies that can generate new data for the Researcher Workbench and the broader research community. Projects are expected to be innovative and aligned with the program’s mission, with emphasis on multiomics analyses, early disease detection, biomarker discovery or validation, and other studies that can support individualized prevention, treatment, and care. This is a resource access opportunity rather than direct funding, applicants must secure external funding and demonstrate assay validation, the maximum project period is three years, and applications are due July 1, 2026, October 30, 2026, and March 1, 2027.
