The Administration for Community Living is funding ten grants to support the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects Program's Americans with Disabilities Act National Network. Awarded grantees will establish and operate ten ADA Regional Centers, one in each HHS region, to deliver training, technical assistance, outreach, research, and material dissemination that improves public understanding of ADA rights and responsibilities. Selected centers must allocate at least 15 percent of their budget to local ADA research, utilize the Outcomes Measurement System database, and collaborate with the ADA Knowledge Translation Center. The 36-month period of performance is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, and applications will be evaluated on a 100-point scale emphasizing the design of technical assistance, training, dissemination, and research activities. Applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov by July 23, 2026, with an optional Notice of Intent due by July 14, 2026, and inquiries may be directed to Shelley Reeves at Shelley.Reeves@acl.hhs.gov.
Eligible Applicants
States; public or private agencies, including for-profit agencies; public or private organizations, including for-profit organizations; IHEs; and Indian tribes and tribal organizations. Foreign entities are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.
