Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to the African Union is seeking grant proposals to support commercial diplomacy that strengthens U.S.–Africa trade and investment ties and advances U.S. economic interests. The work should expand market access, build trade and investment linkages, promote U.S. best practices, and may include business matchmaking, expert-led workshops, sector-specific engagement, and technology or innovation partnerships. Projects are expected to produce measurable outcomes such as new business linkages, MOUs, commercial networks, or investment flows, with a performance period of 6 to 12 months and evaluation based on program quality, organizational capacity, project planning, budget, monitoring and evaluation, and sustainability. Awards range from $5,000 to $25,000, with $40,000 available in total, and applications are due June 8, 2026.
