Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is offering the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE), a discretionary grant program to preserve long-term housing affordability for residents of manufactured housing and manufactured housing communities, redevelop MHCs, and primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The competition supports preservation and revitalization activities for manufactured housing and eligible communities under title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. It is a grant opportunity with no matching requirement, open to a broad range of applicants including multi-jurisdictional entities, MPOs, resident-controlled MHCs, cooperatives, nonprofit entities, CDFIs, Tribal applicants, and certain partnering entities, while individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorships are not eligible. Electronically submitted applications are due no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on August 3, 2026; HUD estimates awards of $1 million to $5 million, with program contact available at PRICE@HUD.gov.
Eligible Applicants
Other eligible applicants include multi-jurisdictional entities, metropolitan planning organizations, resident-controlled MHCs, cooperatives, non-profit entities (including consortia of non-profit entities), CDFIs, Tribal Applicants, and entities that partner with one or several residents of such eligible Manufactured Housing Communities or that propose to implement a grant program that would assist residents of such eligible Manufactured Housing Communities. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement.
