The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA is offering a discretionary grant for the Ovarian Cancer Research Program’s Ovarian Cancer Academy – Early-Career Investigator Award to support early-career ovarian cancer research and career development. The award funds participation in the Academy’s virtual mentoring and research network, including collaboration with mentors, peer investigators, and Academy leadership through monthly webinars and annual workshops. Eligible principal investigators must be within five years of their last postdoctoral research position or clinical fellowship by the application deadline, may not hold a concurrent career development-like award, and must have an institutional commitment of about 50% protected time for ovarian cancer research and Academy activities.
