DoW Prostate Cancer, Data Science Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA is offering the FY26 Prostate Cancer Research Program Data Science Award to support research that uses quantitative and analytical approaches to generate insight from prostate cancer data. The work can involve clinically annotated datasets, omics data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, bioinformatics, computational biology, digital pathology, epidemiology, and medical imaging. Applications must address one of the FY26 PCRP Overarching Challenges, multiple principal investigators are allowed with separate application packages for partnering PIs, and the program does not support clinical trials, new dataset development, animal research, or prospective human subject recruitment; applications are reviewed for scientific merit and programmatic relevance. The program lists about $5.6 million in total funding for roughly four awards capped at $1.4 million over up to three years, with a pre-application and full application submitted through eBRAP, a close date of September 2, 2026, and help available from the eBRAP Help Desk.
