Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Centers

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is seeking applications for the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Centers cooperative agreement program. The purpose of this program is to develop and disseminate training and technical assistance to address the high prevalence of opioid and stimulant use and misuse affecting rural communities. Eligible applicants are domestic public and private nonprofit entities who can deliver these specialized support services to targeted rural areas. The agency expects to make approximately 11 awards from an estimated total program funding of $7,150,000, with an award ceiling of $650,000 per award.
