Strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Organized Crime Specialized Departments for Organized Crime Through Expert Advisory Support
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, is seeking qualified individuals to provide expert advisory and mentoring support to specialized anti-organized crime and corruption departments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The selected advisors will work with the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Specialized Department for Corruption and Organized Crime (POSKOK) and its Republika Srpska counterpart to deliver structured advisory sessions, participate in legal reform working groups, and provide case-based mentoring. Key objectives include strengthening prosecutorial methodology in alignment with the Federation's 2014 Law on the Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime and developing a structured case prioritization framework to manage complex, high-level caseloads with a focus on those with a U.S. nexus. Applications are open until September 28, 2026, with an expected award ceiling of $75,000,000 and an award floor of $50,000,000, and inquiries can be directed to Grants Officer Aaron J. Rupert at rupertaj@state.gov.
