The Dept. of the Army’s USAMRAA is offering the FY26 Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program Impact Award to support applied research aimed at near-term clinical impact in military health. The award funds translational projects that move basic research findings toward practical solutions and must align with a FY26 PRMRP topic area and strategic goal. Projects may involve a single PI or partnering PIs, require preliminary data, and do not allow clinical trials, although non-interventional clinical research is permitted. CDMRP expects to fund about 10 awards from roughly $32.0 million, with caps of $2.8 million for single-PI projects and $3.6 million for partnering-PI projects over up to 4 years; pre-applications are due July 23, 2026 and full applications are due August 6, 2026.
