Community Connect Grant Program
Grant Opportunity Analysis
USDA Rural Development’s Rural Utilities Service is offering the Community Connect Grant Program to support broadband deployment in rural, economically challenged communities that lack adequate internet service. The grants fund projects that bring 100 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream service to rural residents, businesses, and essential community facilities, and may also support community centers that provide free internet access. Projects must serve rural areas without existing 10/1 Mbps broadband, include a 15% cash match, and are prioritized for areas showing the greatest broadband need. Applications are due by June 29, 2026, and must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov and the Community Connect Application Intake System; awards range from $100,000 to $5 million.
