DoW Military Burn, Discovery Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, through USAMRAA and the CDMRP Military Burn Research Program, is seeking grant proposals for the FY26 Military Burn Research Program Discovery Award to support innovative research in combat-relevant burn care. The award is intended for novel, high-risk/high-reward, exploratory or hypothesis-driven studies that generate robust preliminary data and help lay the groundwork for future translational or clinical research. The program emphasizes research relevant to austere, resource-limited combat environments, and clinical trials are not permitted, although non-interventional clinical research is allowed. Awards may provide up to $200,000 each for a maximum 2-year performance period, with approximately $400,000 available for two awards, and applications follow a two-step process with a pre-application due July 7, 2026 and a full application due October 21, 2026. Questions may be directed to the eBRAP Help Desk at help@eBRAP.org or 301-682-5507.
