Safety Through Recovery, Engagement, and Evidence-Based Treatment and Support

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is accepting applications for the Safety Through Recovery, Engagement, and Evidence-Based Treatment and Support program. Funded recipients will provide comprehensive, street-based engagement, treatment, and recovery support services for homeless individuals experiencing serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders. Eligibility is limited to political sub-divisions of states, Indian tribes, and tribal organizations, and the program does not require any cost-sharing or matching funds. The agency expects to award approximately eight cooperative agreements from an estimated total program funding of $24,000,000, with an award ceiling of $3,000,000 per award.
