The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering the Region 08 Fiscal Year 2025 Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) to support the development and refinement of wetland protection and management programs across various governmental entities. The grants aim to enhance the capacity of state, Tribal, territory, and local governments to conserve and restore wetlands, with a focus on increasing both the quantity and quality of wetland areas in the U.S. Eligible applicants include Indian Tribes, state and local governments, institutions of higher education, and intertribal consortia within EPA Region 08, with anticipated funding ranging from $1,481,000 to $2,962,000 for up to 15 awards, each not exceeding $500,000. Applications are due by April 20, 2026, and must include a comprehensive project narrative detailing the project's objectives, tasks, budget, and expected environmental benefits.
