DoW Toxic Exposures Translational Research Award
Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army through USAMRAA is offering the FY26 Toxic Exposures Research Program Translational Research Award to support translational research that moves military-related toxic exposure findings into clinical applications. The award is intended to advance health care products, interventions, technologies, and clinical practice guidelines, and it includes an optional Partnering Principal Investigator approach to encourage meaningful collaboration. The program emphasizes reciprocal transfer between basic science and clinical observations, rigorous study design, use of military or veteran populations, and a post-award transition plan; clinical trials are not permitted, but clinical research is allowed. About $6 million is available for roughly four awards, with each award capped at $1.5 million over three years. The application process uses a two-step submission with a pre-application due August 19, 2026, and a full application due November 19, 2026, and questions may be directed to the eBRAP Help Desk at help@eBRAP.org or 301-682-5507.
