The Administration for Community Living is funding the Alzheimer's Disease Programs Initiative to develop and expand dementia-capable home and community-based service systems in Indian Country. Selected tribes, tribal organizations, and tribal consortia must deliver evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions, increase public awareness, and provide respite services to reduce caregiver stress. Grantees will operate under a 36-month period of performance featuring a planning phase of at least six months, an independent project evaluation, and a required budget allocation for direct services that increases annually from 25 percent to 45 percent. Applicants must secure a minimum 10 percent non-federal cost-sharing match to compete for approximately seven awards valued between $250,000 and $300,000 per budget period. Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov by the deadline of July 22, 2026.
