The Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity for a CESU partner to conduct research on the illegal shooting of birds along powerlines in the Great Basin areas of US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Region 8 (R8). This cooperative agreement aims to address the issue and gather valuable data to inform conservation efforts. The funding range for this opportunity is between $25,000 and $75,000. Eligible applicants must be a participating partner of the Great Basin Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program.
