Grant Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, through the Office of Special Education Programs, is offering State Personnel Development Grants to help State educational agencies improve personnel preparation and professional development systems for early intervention, education, and transition services for children with disabilities. The grants support competitive awards for activities carried out under the State plan submitted under section 653 of IDEA. Eligible applicants are SEAs from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and certain outlying areas, and applications must follow the Department’s revised common instructions, including electronic submission through Grants.gov and required UEI, TIN, and SAM registration information.
