Grant Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health and the National Human Genome Research Institute are seeking applications to establish the GREGoRi Technology Integration Center under cooperative agreement RFA-HG-27-012. The selected recipient will develop standards and best practices for applying new molecular methods in rare disease diagnosis and produce a multidimensional dataset of genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic data to benchmark novel diagnostic tools. The Center must collaborate with the GREGoRi Data Coordination and Outreach Center to share harmonized data via the AnVIL platform, with a project period lasting up to five years. Applications are due by October 30, 2026, with NHGRI intending to commit $3 million in FY 2027 to support one award capped at $2.25 million in direct costs per year, and inquiries can be sent to nhgri-gregor@mail.nih.gov.
